And as my father passed the cheque across to me with a tear in his eye, with what must have been a heavy heart he asked me a question that would solidify the choices I made for the rest of my life

Regardless of the fact I was close to my own financial ruin due to a disagreement with my business partner. I knew there had to be a better way.
I started my career dreaming of becoming the traditional Bank Manager we all knew and respected.
But as the role disappeared before my eyes due to automation through new technology and empowered sales people, I was given the opportunity to move into financial planning.
There is a great depth of knowledge when it comes to finances. And although lots of it can be used to create financial freedom, I found that due to regulations and governing bodies there was a gap.
A gap between what I could help my clients with and what I was allowed to help them with.
